First Grade News
Mrs. Rosted's Class
May 16, 2008
Dear Families:
We have been working on money, the rosary, reading with expression and fluency, jobs people can do, goods & services, and the difference between wants and needs.

Some of our first graders are having a hard time counting coins.  Please work on this at home.

Pictures/Scrapbook:  I am working on putting together our first grade scrapbook. I think it's going to be really cute.   I still need a few pics... If anyone has any pictures from our Christmas party, I would really appreciate it!  The scrapbook is going to cost about $15.  Please see the order sheet going home today.

Beach Party: If you are planning on coming to our beach party, please send in the blue sheet by Monday.  Those people that have turned in their sheets will get a second sheet next Friday with all of the details.

June 5th/Last day of school:
We will have a 'Portfolio Day' where the students can show off their progress from 1st grade, award certificates, and a little party.  These activities will start after lunch (from 12:30-2:30)

Have a great weekend!
Nicci Rosted
