Dear Families:

We had a great time on our field trip and saw a wonderful play about Laura Ingals Wilder.  We were a little bummed that we couldn't go to Kenwood Park, but we had fun anyway!

We have been working on counting money, several of our end of the year assessments, and retelling stories.  It's hard to believe that we are getting so close to the end of the year already.

May is a big assessment month!  We will be doing several different end-of-the-year assessments in the coming weeks.    Please be sure that your child has a good nights sleep and good breakfast everyday this month so he/she can do his/her personal best!

If you have not already signed and returned the videotaping release form (yellow sheet), please send that in by Monday.

I am working on a "story book" scrapbook for our first graders.  If anyone has any pictures from our field trips, parties, or classroom in general please put them on a picture CD and give them to me by May 30th so I can add them to our scrapbook.  The books usually cost around $15 and are filled with awesome pictures of our first graders.  I'll send home order forms when it gets closer.  It makes a great keepsake!

Have a great weekend!
Nicci Rosted
