Mrs. Kecskes/Mrs. Rosted's Class
This is sadly our last official newsletter. We can't believe how fast this year has gone by. The kids have worked very hard in first grade and it really shows in all of their work. It has been an honor being their teachers.
We have some fun things planned for next week...
Tuesday: We are having a 1st grade kickball game in the afternoon. Mrs. Kecskes' class vs. Mrs. Rosted's class. Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes! (No sandals)
Wednesday: Game Day & Portfolio Day: Bring a game from home to share with your classmates. For Portfolio Day we are asking parents to come in around 2:00 pm and let your child's progress shine as you view his/her portfolio!
Thursday: We have a concert in the morning, yearbook signing, and then Field day in the afternoon starting at 1:00pm. You are more than welcome to join us in the field day activities...however, we might put you to work! ;)
Friday: Is our last day! We will have mass in the morning then a few fun activities to end the year. School will dismiss at 11:10am.
It's time to say good-bye
Our year has come to an end
We've made more cherished memories
and many more new friends
We've watched your child learn and grow
and change from day to day
We hope that all the things we've done
Have helped in some small way
So it's with happy memories
we send them out the door
with great hope and expectations
for what next year holds in store
