I hope everyone had a great long weekend! We celebrated Keelie's 2nd birthday and had a great time! She's loves opening up presents!
This week in the news... We've been learning about Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Korea, homonyms, black history, and telling time. We've also been working on consonant blends, especially some of the tricky ones like ph. Next week we will learn about dental health, number patterns, and review silent e. We are also going to do a reading test on the computer so we can start the Accelerated Reading (AR) Program.

Headphones: If you'd like your child to use his/her own personal headphones for the computer, please send them in a plastic zip-lock baggie as soon as possible. If not, the school has headphones available to use.
