First Grade News
Mrs. Rosted's Class
February 1, 2008
Dear Families:
Wow!  I guess for Catholic Schools Week mother nature decided that we needed a break and gave us a couple days off.  I hope everyone had a chance to relax and enjoy it.    I was bummed that we couldn't go sledding due to the icy conditions, but Mrs. Kecskes and I are planning an ice skating trip to the Wex on Feb. 22nd to make up for it.  I will send home a note with more information regarding this next week.

Thank you to all of the parents that provided lunch for us today!  That was a wonderful treat!

Valentine's Day Party:
Valentine's Day is fast approaching.  Our party will be on Thursday February 14th from 1:45-2:30.  If you are interested in helping with our party planning, we are welcoming help with fun Valentine's activities.  Please see the volunteer sheet being sent home today.

Also, if your child wants to buy/make Valentine's for his/her classmates, please be sure that one is done for each child in our class.  We don't want any hurt feelings! I will send home a sheet next week with everyone's name on it.  The children may also want to make cards for some of the adults that help us.  Those people are
Ms. Roda, Mr. King, Mrs. Christiansen, Mrs. Duley, Mrs. Koeje, Mrs. Bushor, Mrs. Swanson, & Mrs. George
