Verses II

1.    I am tired, but not broken

      Weary, but not worn.

       Times will come new again.

       Pages will yet be torn

       From the Book of Life.

2.    You were right.

       You I didn't see

       'Til your back faced me.

        I felt night.

        But that's okay.

        Perhaps the waiting

        And the frustrating

        Will teach God's way.

        And my fear

        Will be calmed by love

        From my God above

        Who will hear.

        One moment's pain

        Is nothing compared

        To sorrow He's shared

        Just for my gain.

3.    Am I okay?

       Do I continue

       To think and

       Dream of him,

       A figment of my

       Imagination?

       The real man

       Is nothing like

       The dream, but

       Better when

       Seen in the light

       Of reality.
