A Gift

Soft white tissue paper sprinkled with metallic color,

Tied together with a thin red gleaming ribbon.

Inside the bounteous treasure of scent filled soaps and lotions bundled

In vanilla satin and clear acrylline with smooth satin drawstrings.

The smell brings to the senses memories of vanilla creme

As rich as the thick, creamy vanilla center of a chocolate covered cherry.

Such luxury is not deserved, but received in humility
