Old Wardour Castle
This castle was built in 1393 in Wiltshire, near to the town of Shaftesbury. It was destroyed by civil war in England. A plan to repair the ruins in the 1700s was rejected and a new castle was built nearby, known as Wardour Castle. Old Wardour stands as a relic within its grounds. It was used to film the scenes at Locksley Castle in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
