| Synopsis After being captured by Turks during the Crusades, Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) and his friend, Azeem (Morgan Freeman), return to England to find the evil Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman) plotting to take away the kingdom from King Richard (a surprise cameo from Sean Connery). Along with his band of outcasts and a stepbrother that he never knew he had (Christian Slater), Robin embarks on a quest to restore justice to the kingdom and win the heart of his childhood friend, Maid Marian (Mary Mastrantonio). It mostly concerns a dleted sub-plot between Mortianna and the Sheriff of Nottingham.
