Equation![]() |
| 13+(8+y)11=35
13+88+11y=35 -13 -13 0 22 88+11y=22 -88 -88 0 -66 11y=-66 y=-6

First, you multiply the eleven by (8+y). Next, you subtract thirteen by both sides. Then, write out your equation so that you want get confused. Subtract the eight-eight so that you will have the variable number by its self. Now, you need to get rid of your eleven so the variable will be by itself. To undue multiplication you divide, so you divide by eleven. Finally, you have reached your answer!!!! |
An Equation with just Variables!!
| A=(b1+b2)h
2 |
Your Equation!! Find b1 |
| 2A=(b1+b2)h | To undue division you must multiply. Multiply the two times A. |
| 2A=b1+b2
h |
Now, lets get rid of the h, so we must divide to get rid of multiplication. So divide the h by both sides and the h two h's on the right cancel out. |
2A-b2=b1
h |
Finally all we have to do is subtract the b2 to the other side. The b2's cancel out. Now you have found what you were looking for. |
Slope Intercept Equation
Slope= 3 through (2,9) You use the equation for slope which is y=mx+b, and plug in the three in the slope place. y=3x+b Slope formula with the slope just plugged into and nothing else. y-9=3(x-2) Ta da
your
done!!You look at your points the 2 is the x and the 9 is the y. So you will put those numbers on the side their variable is on. Since both of the numbers are positive you make them negatives. Just plug them in and place parenthesis around the x and its number.

what you are all done!!!!!
