Equation#1
4x-13=35
   +13=13
       4=48
       4   4
       x=12
  1.) First of all, start by adding   13 to both sides.      The 13 will cancel out the -13. The equation is now 4x= 48
                                                  4     4
   2.) Divide both sides by 4 and the answer is 12.

      Equation#2
 1)    With slope=3
     through (2,9)
 slope:     Y-9=7
                 X-2
      Y-9=3(x-2)
The point-slope form is being used.  First start by subtracting 9by Y and 2 by X.  Now take points (2,9) and form an equation.  The equation comes out to be Y-9=3(which is the slope). Next subtract the Y-9 with the X-2.  The answer is Y-9=3(X-2).
           Equation#3
 1)   A=(b1+b2)H
             2
 2)  2a=(b1+b2)H
       H        H
 3)  2b=b1+b2
       a
 4) 2a-b2=b1
       H
1.) First, start by mulityplying the 2 by everything.  Next divide the H by both sides.  The equation is now 2b=b1+b2.
  a
2.)Next divide the H by everything.  The H cancels out.
3.) The equation is now 2a-b2=b1.
