| And I guess that's why they call it the blues. What can I say about this man. He has been my best friend in life for the last 6 years. He has played a role in my life every day for the last 6 years. I met Justin in high school, freshman year. I was a fat very unattractive kid and justin was a skinny glasses type brain :) When no one else would be my friend, he was. I'm not really sure what it was that made Justin and I click, but whatever it was I am thankful. We all have that one true friend in life. The one that goes through it all with us. Through thick and very thin, when the sun shines and the storms roll in. He plays the piano better than Elton John himself...that is my opinion anyway. He writes music that not only is inspiring but makes you feel at home. I have to admit, I am jealous of him. He has qualities I could only hope to have one day. Very smart, no matter what the case may be, is kind pretty much kind and true-hearted 100% of the time with people. |
| I can still remember the little things we did growing up. How we'd make fun of teachers, other kids that thought they were miss thang or the hottest dude in the school. No matter how perfect someone seems to be on the outside, there are always things that can be poked at on the outside. Is it cruel? Yes, but we had so much fun lol* Anyway, I have derailed here... Justin has taught me the true meaning of friendship. It is a give and take way of life. There were so many times I just took took took. The "it's all about me, back to Jack right here." But now an 'adult," looking back on the years, wondering where have I gone, who was I then where am I know, how do we all get where we get? Those are questions that I am able to face because I have a friend like Justin in my life. I can only wish that everyone has the opportunity to feel the awe in life that a true friendship has to offer. It keeps you grounded and very aware of what is important in life. It's not what they wear, how they act, or what they believe in. Respect is the foundation for all friendships, just don't forget to dig the ground first. What can I say, Buddy. You're like my own brother. I consider you a part of my family. I hope as the years go on, we continue to write music together, and never let the harsh cold word get us down. You are all that buddy, and I cannot thank you enough for what you've done for me. "And so the story never ends, you will always be my friend." |

| Mommy!! This is my Mother, Dawn. What can I say about this beautiful lady. Well, she had the patients and strength to live with me for 19 years so that says A LOT!!! They should give out awards for things like that. My Mom and I have grown rather close these last few years. I am very much like her it's not EVEN funny! lol* We have the same taste when it comes to basically anything. We both love the same movies, well, almost all the same movies lol* No matter what the circumstance, my Mom and I always know how to laugh it up. Mom, I just wanna say thank you for always being there for me. Through the darkness and good times I knew I'd make it through. But I didn't go it alone, you were with me every step of the way. You taught me to walk with out your hands and today I am proud to say I have turned out the way I have because of you. I have all your qualities. Kind, compassionate, |
| understanding, loving, caring, spiritual, social, and forgiving. Sometimes we cannot explain why we do the things we do. We can only do the best with what God gave us. No life is perfect, or the way we live our lives. No matter where I go, or what I do, take heart in knowing that you and dad did a fantastic job in bringing me and Brad up. I am more than proud to say you are my Mother and one day when I win my first Grammy Award for Songwriter of the year, I will thank the woman that encouraged me to reach for the stars and to never stop dreaming.
