| Correct outcrosses are essential in maintaining hybrid vigor and the overall strength of a given family of dogs. Here at Pit Piper Kennels we believe in improving the quality of our dogs through well planned outcrosses. Gin is a prime example. She is heavily linebred on two great animals: Jeep and Rascal. She is one of the last living offspring of Crenshaw's Black Girl. Black Girl never produced a dog of light heart. Gin's sire, Al's Chief, was heavily inbred on Jeep and Honeybunch. It is no coincidence she looks so much like them. Gin is half sister to Crenshaw's Grand Champion Black Jack, one of the greatest bulldogs of modern times. Gin is special in her own right! |
