Mr. Ram Air's Favorite External Links:
Firebird & Trans Am Links
Pontiac Homepage - The Official GM Pontiac Division Site.  Make sure to stop in at the Pontiac Mall.  Great items such as die-cast models, key chains and apparel.

F-Body Organization - Finally back up and running.  Not sure who took it over, but it has the same look and feel as it used to have.  VIN Decoder and Speed at RPM calculator are great.

National Firebird & Trans Am Club - I am a member.  Based out of Chicago with local chapters around the country.

Pontiac Historic Services - They provide replica window stickers and press release packages for your vehicle.  VIN needed, plus a fee.

ASC Global - The company that does the WS6 Modification for Pontiac.

Wayne's 1998 WS6 Trans Am Homepage - Go here for many Fourth Generation Firebird links.  His site is great, too

1989 20th Anniversary TURBO TA Homepage - Russ Salerno hosts this very informative page on the awesome 3.8L Turbocharged V6 TA.  Only 1555 were made.

Ron Bigham's '97 TA - A friend I met on-line and in person at the TA Memorial Run in Bensalem, PA.

LS1.com - Great technical information on the LS1 engine!

Car Cruises Online - Great site for checking local cruises.  Based in Pittsburgh, but has listings for many different states.  Check it out!

Pontiac Power - A great site for information, pictures, etc. on classic Pontiac Muscle!

The Premier Firebird Trans Am Gallery - A great site for photos of the Trans Am.  Our cars are on there.

The Second Generation Trans Am Source Page - By Gary Lisk.  Best Second Gen information site on the Web!
Accessories & Parts Links
Valentine One Radar Locator - The most advanced radar detector on the market.  Detects all radar as well as Laser, from front and rear.  Mike Valentine was the co-founder of Cincinnati Microwave, who got their start in military systems (fighter aircraft).  He designed the original Escort and Passport radar detectors.  Absolutely the best hands down.  Enough said!

K & N Engineering - Makers of high-flow cloth and oil film air filters.  A must-have to reap the benefits of Ram Air.

Reflective Concepts - Makers of highly reflective tape cut-outs to fit over the body-color badges and indented PONTIAC on the rear.  Various colors available.  Also has kits for GP's, GA's, Corvettes, Camaros, Saturns, Mustangs and X-Treme.  I like them better than FireBat's (IMHO).  I have their cut-outs on my Grand Prix GT, but nothing goes on the TA!

AutoAccessory.com - Best prices on custom car covers I could find.  Lots of other products, too, but not always the best prices.

Performance Products - Great selection of truck accessories, especially bike racks.

Auto Custom Carpets - ACC makes great custom floor mats and has lots of licensed logos that can be embroidered on them.  Also makes replacement carpets for restoration jobs.

Kelley Blue Book - Find the value of your trade-in or the retail price that a dealer would typically charge.

The Grand Prix Store - A shop for performance, cosmetic, and other parts for the 1997 - Present Pontiac Grand Prix.

Phoenix Graphix - Manufacturer of officially licensed decals for classic American cars.  Specializes in Trans Ams - the second generation screaming chickens, of course!
Entertainment & Misc. Links
YesWorld - The official site for the rock group Yes.  My favorite group of all time.  Songs include I've seen All Good People, Starship Trooper, Roundabout, And You And I and Owner of a Lonely Heart.  Still together making great music, even if radio stations generally ignore them.

TeslaWeb - The official site for the rock group Tesla.  Their music includes Little Suzi, The Way It Is, Love Song, , Paradise, What You Give, and Mama's Fool.  They are back together and on tour!  Look for them this summer.  "Re-Plugged" Tour.  New live and studio albums are in the works as well.

Bar 7 - Official site.  An offshoot of Tesla.  Jeff Keith and Tommy Skeoch formed this band several years after Tesla broke up.  They were the catalyst to get Tesla back together.  Awesome band - they will not be shelved.  Buy the CD "The World is a Freak" at their website!  If you like Tesla, you will like this.

Blue Oyster Cult - Official website.  Lots of great info on the band that sang such classics as Don't Fear the Reaper and Godzilla.  They are still together, touring and putting out the occasional new studio album.

PhotoWorks.com - Formerly Seattle FilmWorks.  I used to send all of my film there to be developed.  They offer hi-res scans sent to you on CD-R.  Most of the photos on my page were scanned by them (I bought a scanner in October, 2001).

WDVE 102.5 FM Pittsburgh - The only station that rocks in Pittsburgh.  Home of new and classic rock.  But I wish they would play Bar 7...

ZoneLabs - Makers of ZoneAlarm and ZoneAlarm Pro.  These are firewall programs to protect you from hackers while connected to the Internet.  Becoming a necessity for those of us with Cable Modems (like me) and DSL service.  These connections are always on when the computer is on - you do not have to have your browser open to be vulnerable.  ZoneAlarm is free for individuals (personal use) and non-profit organizations.  Pro is for businesses and those who want higher levels of custom protection.  It is about $40.

My Three Cats & Co. - A great cat supply and cat paraphernalia store.  The owners are really nice, and the merchandise is varied and reasonably priced.  The store is located in Mt. Lebanon, PA, on Washington Road, between MacFarland and Cochrane.  They have most of their merchandise available on-line.
