Train journeys

Train journeys can be so boring
so boring that I start
to write poetry that doesnt rhyme

Trains are busses on tracks
They carry people around

I tend to sit down

It wobbles from side to side
Rocking, rythnically, repeatedly
Still my poems dont seem to rhyme

People who Ill never see again
Unless I look away for a moment
And see theyre still there

I tend to write stuff down
At least, then, Ive got something to read later

Do poems have to rhyme
See if i care
fold back the mists of time

People shuffle up the passage
Powering past with their luggage
Hurrah - were approaching Leeds!
sorry this's a bit SHITE
Mon 25th sept
It's so shite, I've decided to link in a
BONUS POEM which is the one Dr David Morely is so entusiastic about on the noticeboard. It would have won the phenonx poem competition if i'd lied about my age.
