A simlistic argument for evolution by Fraser Campbell. [email protected].

I was not made by God; I was made by my Mum and Dad. Although certain people who encouter me may wish this had never happend, the fact remains that I look like a cross between my Mother and Father (a horrible thought). I inheritad charactoristics from them, hair colour, height, shortsightedness etc. There is no denying that information is passed down the line.

The most blatant example of this is the case of crab boy. The freak show man with irregular hands. His daughter inherited this nature of hands - its a solid argument so far, right?

Now look in the real world the here and now. Sperm from prize bulls are injected into cows in order for them to produce strong calfs. Look what dog breeders and pigoen fanciers do to create better creatures for. So when a human foetous has in its development a tail, what are we to think? Draw your own conclusions but did God make us in this

So, what the whole issue boils down to is do we believe in fossil evidence (if somewhat shady and partial) or words on a page. A book, which, frankly I find poetic bullshit. Well meaning myths that are disproved consistantly or twisted and manipulated to suit peoples needs. Do you really believe a book where in the first chapter a talking serpent tells someone to eat a magical apple? Does ANY Christian really see this as anything other than pure bollocks? (a reasonable question. I want to know if anyone actually belives in it) There are billions of other examples of how stupid it is to believe this at face value, hard historic evidence, without a certain degree of  or creativity, yet God made the world in a week about 6000 years ago.

Lets face it hes done bollocks all since! I discussed the timing thing with a Jehovas Witness and they said that a day was a term used to indicate a couple of million years, to make up the woefully harsh but pleasing difference of around 4.5 billion of the fuckers.

Why do people still cling onto this anchient philosophy? Simple - they are

I am not that qualified to specialise in this area, but you are in the right place. The creationist argument is centred around

Everytime the question why does God permit suffering? is brought up the first thing they bring up is this fairytale. If we havnt betrayed him (unless we did eat this mysterious fruit) then why does he let bad shit happen, man, just why? Simple - he doesnt exist.

Well I say to these people, just because it exists doesnt mean it has meaning. You will never find what you are looking for. Life is a mystery, religion is an answer but it is the false answer because there is no answer that we can uncover. There beyond human made meaning, belivers seem to dismiss that religion could be part of this framework.

seems

Sym

If this is, and lets face it, bullshit then how do we know that the rest of it isnt? It stands or falls alone. You are entitled to your beliefs but you may be living a lie.

If we were designed to be in this environment.

Human beings are physical beings. Dogs and Cats and pidgeons are dogs and cats and pidgeons because they are physically dogs and cats and pigoens.

I believe I am just a body, brittle and easily broken

We seem to justify

Look. Just fucking admit it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
