I have also started sanding/wirebrushing one of the rear ambulance doors down to bare metal. The rear ambulance doors are definitely the roughest part I have to work with. They are rusty on the bottoms.. But they latch, open and close good so they are worth fixing. I will probably end up ordering bottom replacement panels for them, so I can weld them on. It is a nice and clean job that way.
I have alot of new parts to order in the future, here are the ones off the top of my head.
1.)Brake Pedel Switch (Origional one had gone bad.)
2.)Rear Drum Brake Shoes (Old ones are almost wore out.)
3.)Speedo Cable (Due to origional broke)
4.)Rear differential Plate Gasket.
5.)Oil Pan Gasket
6.)Parking Brake (Due to Origional Broke)
7.)Molded carpet Kit for inner tub.
8.)Tuffy Console w/stereo Compartment.
9.)Windshield Bump pads.
10.)KC Windshield frame mount Offroad Lights.
11.)Chrome rear and front differential plate.
Right now I am waiting on these parts to arrive, they should be here tommarow:
1.) Hard Top to Tub Weatherstripping. (Seals, prevents future rust, and prevents hard top from scratching Tub. Also makes for quieter ride.)
2.) Windshield Cushion Gasket (Goes under Windsheild Frame to seal and prevent future rust. Also makes for quieter ride.)
3.) Wheel Well support (Left support is Missing.)
NEXT DAY:
The above parts came in finally. I have put the Windshield cushion on and now have the Windshield Frame attached. I have also put all of the alan head SS bolts on the windshield hinges now.
