The only Flight Manual produced for the 11 series Aeronca
The people at Aeronca thought for the first three years of production that a simple placard "Max. Speed 128 mph" would be enough to keep a pilot out of trouble. NO flight manual was ever produced for the 11AC, 11BC or 11AC-S models. But product liability concerns were present even then, so Aeronca did produce this cardboard card to put in the plane, as well as a cardboard placard to put on the panel in plain view. It's interesting that the Vne speed went down to 126 mph with 11CC model, compared with the 128 for the 11AC and 129 for the 7AC Champ.
What does a 65 horsepower 11AC do compared to the 11CC model?
We have the Aeronca flight test reports on the 11AC serial number one. They flight tested the plane in July of 1945. NX39566 was flight tested and then tested to destruction.

OK, this web project has gotten so complicated I need a Links page just to navigate it!
John Rodkey took a trip around America in his Aeronca Chief and wrote a great
