- War comes to end because Russians had a weak system with no competition and motivation for innovating which led to defeat.
Senator McCarthy persecutes people who are believed to be sympathizers with communist which was called the Red Scare

-Roman Berlin Tokyo axis allowed them to gain lands quickly with help and without a lot of fighting
