WASH DAY CAKE

---

1 box yellow or choc cake mix,
1 stick melted margarine,
1 egg,
1 c. chopped nuts,
1 c. coconut (opt.)

FILLING:
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened,
2 eggs,
1 box powdered sugar,
1 tsp. vanilla.

Mix cake ingredients with a fork. This will make a thick batter. Pack evenly in a 9x13-inch pan.
Top with filling.

FILLING: Mix ingredients until smooth. Pour over top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

I got this recipe from a collection of recipes by Muscogee County Special Olympics in Columbus, Georgia. I hope you enjoy it. I like it with the chocolate cake mix the best.
