NO BOIL LASAGNE


This Lasagna is great as well as easy.

Ingredients:

Approximately 9 wide lasagna noodles
2 cups of mozzarella cheese grated
16 oz. of cottage cheese
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1 jar of Prego Spaghetti sauce ( chunky garden variety)
1 lb. of ground beef 92% lean is best

Directions:

Brown beef in deep skillet and drain
Add jar of Spaghetti sauce and then fill 1/4 way with water and swish around jar to get all of the sauce out and add to ground beef. While that is simmering mix all of the other ingredients in a large bowl. Put a small amount of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9" X 13" baking pan

Layer 3 uncooked lasagna noodles
Then half of cheese mixture
Then an ample amount of the sauce
Then 3 uncooked noodles
Then the other half of the cheese
Then sauce but leaving enough for the top layer.
Another layer of 3 noodles
Then the last of the sauce

Cover pan with aluminum foil tightly and cook in a 350 degree over for one hour. After that uncover and let stand for at least 15 minutes to become firm.
