2 ½ cup Sugar
½ cup milk
1 package chopped dates
2 cups chopped pecans
½ teaspoon vanilla
Mix sugar and milk in saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil until if forms a soft ball. Add dates and stir until dissolved. Add chopped nuts and vanilla. Remove from heat and beat until creamy. Shape on wet cloth. Form roll in wet cloth. Let cool in refrigerator. Slice.
