Cracker Cookies

Line cookie sheet (with sides) with foil.
Lay one sleeve of Club Crackers on cookie sheet.
Put 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar in sauce pan and bring to boil, stirring constanly for 2 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Spread over crackers.
Sprinkle with 1 cup of slivered almonds.
Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool.
Cut with sharp knife. Store in Air tight container.
