| Classroom Rules |
| Here are the rules I use in our Kindergarten Classroom. For a complete set of Fairbanks Elementary School rules and policies, please refer to your Student/Parent Handbook. |
| 1. Follow directions the first time given. 2. Listen carefully and do not distract others. 3. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself. 4. Respect the rights of others. 5. Try your best to work and learn. |
| Please make sure that your review these rules with your child. Also please explain to them that there will both positive and negative consequences for student behavior. |
| If a student "chooses" to follow the classroom rules, the following rewards will be available. 1. Joy of learning 2. Good Grades 3. Verbal Praise 4. Special Privileges |
| If a student "chooses" not to follow the classroom rules, his/her citizenship grade will be affected. 1. Warning 2. 5 minutes away from group 3. Orange Card = B 4. Yellow Card = C 5. Blue Card = D 6. Black Card = F (sent to office) *Every child will receive a weekly citizenship grade that will be recorded in the Student Handbook. These will be taken home every Thursday.* |
