The Move to Alaska 2004
When we got to Colorado, the first leg of our journey, Grandma and Grandpa put us to work watering flowers.
Ashton did not like sitting on the his Great Great Uncle Bob's tractor.
We met Ashton's Great Uncle Jerry for lunch at a truck stop with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.
This is my Great Grandpa and Liam next to the big truck. Liam wasn't scared. Great Uncle Jerry took
Ashton and I for a ride, but I think it may have been a little loud for him.
We often stayed at campgrounds on the way. This is a KOA. Ashton wanted to sleep in the tee-pee, but we had our own tent.
The KOA's had some interesting features. We liked the pool, the tee pees, and the pancake breakfast.
From Colorado we decided to drive through Yellowstone National Park. It really doesn't look like a long way,
but with two kid's buckled in to car seats, it can get a tad loud when they are not sleeping...
On to Yellowstone National Park!
