The historical city of Gulbarga (once the capital city of Bahamani sultans) is situated in the North Karnataka and is on the Mumbai - Chennai broadguage. It is the divisional Headquarters of the North Karnataka Revenue division comprising of Bidar, Bellary, Koppal, Raichur and Gulbarga. It has a moderate climate. It has  a number of  educational institutions in the faculty of Medicine, Dental, Pharmacy, Engineering,Homeopathy,Nursing, Arts, Science,Commerce,Fine Arts ,Business Management  and Education Etc. It has full fledged university named as Gulbarga University established in the year 1981 . Gulbarga is one of the educational centres in India . It is a business centre too.
