Government General Hospital, Gulbarga
New Hospital building started functioning from 1967. District Hospital,Gulbarga is one of the major hospitals of the state. It is a teaching hospital for Medical,Dental,Nursing and Physiotherapy courses.On an average daily 1000 to 1200 out-patients attend the hospital coming from city as well as from peripheries.Gulbarga being Divisional Headquarters,the patients of neighbouring districts like Bidar and Raichur are also referred to this hospital.
The hospital is administered by the District Surgeon and Superintendent assisted by RMO/Surgeon,Secretary,Nursing Superintendent and Chief Pharmacist with their staff.
