Welcome to the Mr. Max Group!

As an extension of First Baptist Church’s community groups, these groups  meet weekly.  The Mr. Max Group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in the warm and inviting Parlor* that is adjacent to a well equipped kitchen.  We meet for a time of fellowship.  In the kitchen a small team has the option of cooking for the evening meal.  In this welcoming environment we get to know each other better, joke around, challenge each other and discuss topics of interest and concern. 

Ultimately our goal is to dive into a community that has become a sea of faces and find those who are perplexed, wondering, wanting, and waiting to live a full life.  Inviting these individuals into a place where they can grow; grow relationships, knowledge, and spirit. 

We are brought together by the need to fellowship, held together by bonds of friendship; iron sharpening iron in our faith.  The community group we have formed and the discussions we have are nothing short of amazing.  We look forward to our time together each week and we look forward to meeting you.
