Respect
Respect is a quality that you rarely come by, But when you find it, it makes you sigh. For relationships are built on respect, And is something that we should never neglect Police, for example, are stripped of this quality, When a community lacks a certain policy. That all life must be protected, And that duty can sometimes be hectic. Respect is something learned at home, Through parents that children often clone. Respect adds character, trust and good faith, We should all treat respect as running a race. To be the most courteous person one could find, As nice as the servants in a McDonalds line. |

As we rise and fall in each millennium, Respect holds us closer through the continuum. History repeats itself in lifes recovery process, But respect continues to show those on top that they are blessed. Respect brings down the shields we have, That most people put on to avoid getting mad. We should know that the prophets showed remorse, When the Creator led them down a different course. Yet if they had no respect for their higher power, Their own visions would have led them to be devoured. We dont have to like one another through fight or flight, But we should learn respect because it is right. What goes around comes around, And this is the color of that sound. |
