I was a contestant on October 19, 2003 for the Mr. Lehigh Valley Leather 2003 contest, at Diamonz in Bethlehem, PA. It was a tight competition, and very much a learning experience. There were 4 contestants who were all new to the competition. They were TR, Jesus, Chris and myself, a friendly bunch of guys and we had fun backstage. My dresser was Pigboymarc, who is a friend /boss and who gave me support before the contest and during the contest. All of the contestants were nervous and all the first time competing. The worst part was the Interview, not knowing what to expect for the questions. I followed protocols and answered the 7 judge's questions that were asked, I answered them as best as I could, if it was something that I did not know I stated that I did not know, then went back downstairs with the other contestants. The contest finally starts with a few announcements and some entertainment, and they start the actual contest with Bar wear. I was the last one to go out which I actually was happy about, they called us back out so the audience and the judges could get a final look. Then was the sexy wear, (this is something I could have never done lets say a year ago.) I modeled my sexy wear and went backstage then they call us all back out to let the judges and audience members a final look, we all went back stage and got into our formal wear. This was the final category the Formal wear which we all were all glad that this was the last one. Each of us went out and modeled our formal wear, then came back out for the final appearance for the judges and audience. The Emcee sent us backstage and the judges tallied the scores. They called us back out one at a time to the stage to face the audience and judges one last time. Mr Tri City Leather was holding the sash for the winner he said that we all did a good job then walked towards me and announced that I WAS THE WINNER. I was totally in shock I had no idea that I would win. After the contest was over, people congradulated me said I did a good job.
