ELECTRICITY IN GENERAL
1. Discharge of electricity is accomplished through grounding. By being grounded, electricity will pass right though the body onto the grounding device. Thus, to build up an electrical charge the body needs to have a ground fault interruption device, such as a TENS unit or Violet Wand.
THE TENS UNIT
1. TENS is an acronym for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator.
2. The typical TENS stimulation involves high -frequency/low intensity.
3. The TENS units provides a continuous flow of electricity. This can be dangerous because prolonged forced stimulation of a muscle can cause damage. Just a few hours applied to the leg would prevent someone from walking for a week.
4. Settings for the TENS unit include:
B: Burst mode : bursts twice every second
C (or N): Continuous Mode: Standard stimulation; Fully adjustable.
M: Modulation Mode : Pulse width modulation.
THE VIOLET WAND
1. The greater the surface area on the attachment, the weaker the charge; conversely the smaller amount of surface area, the greater the charge.
2. The Violet Wand is the only electrical device safe to use above the waist, such as on nipple rings. However, using electricity on gold could potentially crystallize and eventually shatter the jewelry, so avoid it.
3. The wand was originally marketed as a medical cure all for everything from gonorrhea to (and I am not making this up) brain fag.
4. The wand plugs into the wall and converts the household current into high frequency, high voltage, low intensity current. The conversion is achieved by using a Tesla coil. At the "business" end of the wand is a detachable glass tube filled with Argon gas. When Argon is excited by a high voltage, it glows with a purple color, hence the name Violet Wand.
5. As the frequency of an AC voltage increases, the depth to which that the electricity penetrates a conductor (whether copper wire or human) diminishes. This helps to keep the electricity of the Violet Wand away from internal organs.
THE RELAXICIZOR
1. This device was designed for stationary exercising. As the goal of a Relaxicizor is to produce spasms, it can be dangerous to have the person receiving the electricity in bondage.
2. As the Relaxicizor was designed to stimulate the muscles, you need a conductor, such as electrical gel, which allows the current to go past the surface of the skin.
3. The Relaxicizor provides breaks in between flows of electricity, unlike the TENS unit which delivers a steady stream of current.
SAFETY INFORMATION - TENS UNIT
1. The TENS unit (or the Violet Wand) should not be used on people with implanted demand- type cardiac pacemakers, known heart disease or seizure disorders.
2. The TENS unit should not be used in the region of the front of the neck or across the chest cavity. In general, never use it above the waist where your heart may be included in the electric circuit.
3. Use should be discontinued if skin irritation occurs at the electrode sites.
4. Application or removal of the electrodes should be carried out with the stimulator switched off.
SAFETY INFORMATION - VIOLET WAND
1. The wand is safe for use anywhere except the eyes or major nerve clusters (i.e. the top of the spine).
2. Do not insert the attachments into any body cavities.
3. Avoid too much exposure in one spot at any time.
4. The Violet Wand produces real sparks so beware of flammable liquids such as alcohol.
5. When playing with a Violet Wand do so in a place where neither party can come in contact with water pipes, radiators, metal frames of buildings, or electrical conduit. This will help avoid the risk of shock. Also avoid play near cordless phones, stereos and computers. Investing in surge protectors is a good idea as these items could get zapped.
6. Should you need to clean your attachments, wipe them off with a damp rag, as the glass is not dishwater safe. You can even break an attachment under hot tap water!
GENERAL SAFETY
1. Fluids are good conductors of electricity and will cause the body to discharge unpleasantly. Any kind of fluid residue (pre-cum, vaginal fluid) especially those with salt (urine) will be dangerous. Alcohol on the skin surface should be absolutely avoided. Water can also conduct certain types of electricity more intensely.
2. DONT plug yourself into a wall!! I once heard of a girl who almost died in an electrical experience. Her boyfriend had essentially plugged her into the wall using a lamp cord with each wire attached to one of her nipples. Even though they were using a light dimmer, when he turned on the power, he almost killed her.
3. Never use anything on anyone until you have tried it on yourself first
HISTORY
The use of electricity to stimulate the human body goes back to at least the turn of the century, where we find 5 models of battery belts in the 1900 Sears Catalog! These devices were clearly described as medical devices, however it is doubtful that any medical effects were found while using these belts. Perhaps more likely, the belts stimulated the genital areas in a totally new way -- using user-controlled currents of applied electricity!
The Master Electric Company (yes boys and girls, Master) was one of the original producers of the Master Violet Ray. The user manual for their product states that all human ailments could be traced to faulty circulation and impure blood. They go on to say that if a person does not exercise or eat in a healthy manner, the impurities build up in the tissues which eventually leads to self-poisoning. This poisoning leaves one susceptible to a myriad of diseases. But by using the Master Violet Ray, one could improve circulation and wash away the impurities that settled in specific organs. Remember at this time in history, electricity was relatively new and seemed somewhat miraculous to the average person. Therefore, if is no wonder that electrical cure-all devices were popular. In other words, If electricity could light my home it could certainly cure my rheumatism!
Most of the other devices currently available (TENS, EMS) have been adapted from medical devices used to treat chronic pain. Unfortunately, the type of signals produced by these units are not very pleasant at all, as they were designed to cause a numbing of the nerves surrounding a painful region instead of a pleasurable sensation inside the genitals.

WHERE TO BUY ELECTRICAL TOYS
1. You can find older Violet Wand models at yard sales and flea markets but just be careful! There might be deterioration of the units coil. The earlier wands had wax coils that had a tendency to melt. TENS units, Relaxicizors and hand crank generators are out there too!
2. Believe it or not, you can get a TENS unit from your doctor. If you have chronic back pain your insurance may even pay for the TENS unit!
