(A Turkey Club with Fries)
Attention all students in Room 3! (2007-08)
Below you will find links to the activities that we have done.
Answer the following questions:
Do you like math?
Is math challenging for you?
Do you want a math challenge?
Can math be fun?
Do you like to work with money/numbers?
Are word problems “scary” to do?
If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, then I have a deal for you.
On Wednesdays after-school from 3:00 - 4:00, Mr. Lancaster will be having Math Club! Everyone is invited to join. I am looking to challenge you and help you face your fears in math. This is going to be enrichment time to learn new strategies to solve problems, play games, and enhance your mathematical knowledge. The Club will run for 6 weeks until April vacation. The initial meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 12th. Be there or be an equilateral quadrilateral. You need a note stating that you are staying after-school and will be picked up by an adult.
Be prepared to come to Math Club ready to be an active participant and learner. This is Math time!
