More Information about the Virtual Lego Applet

Instructions

Click on the background to start the program. Move around the playing area with the arrow keys.

Select a new brick colour, length and width from from the checklists. Use the scroll bars to see all the options. Click on the New Brick button and the new brick will appear to the right. Change the orientation of the new brick by hitting the space bar. The magenta square highlighted on the new brick will align with the magenta square on the existing bricks when the 'P' button is pressed. Move the magenta squares to the desired positions by clicking with the mouse.

That's about it. The playing area is limited by the dark green mat. Also, height is limited to 8 layers to avoid speed problems. Other shortcuts have been taken to make the program run faster, I am aware of most of them, but if you discover any serious problems please send me an e-mail.
