Star Wars Asciimation was built using a Java program to display a sequence of simple ASCII text screens to do the animation. The author is Simon Jansen and his website was www.asciimation.co.nz, but has been down for some time now. Luckily, we found someone who had downloaded it before it disappeared. Now you can enjoy it!
