So, our posters are due tomorrow, AND our first drafts of research papers. You guys always want snow days, but forget that the world still goes on as do due dates.
Pointers on Poster: SOL connection = Take notes on pages 694-699 in the textbook, this should be review for the research process. Look at page 460 for section one, the table of contents for collection 4 for the side sections and pages 463-469 for the bottom two sections.
Pointers for the first draft: Remember to cite everything. On the final draft if information is not cited it is considered plagiarism, also known as cheating. You have to give credit to the person whose thoughts or facts you are using. If you don't give the credit, you don't get any credit. Got it?
We wrote introduction paragraphs and most of the first body paragraph in class on Monday and Tuesday. If you were absent, remember this is a "RESEARCH" paper, therefore you must support your opinion with research. No GENERALIZATIONs may be used to support your argument.
Let me know if you read this and post a reply if you have any questions.
