| DROWNING POOL FRONTMAN DAVE WILLIAMS FOUND DEAD. Manassas, Virginia --- Drowning Pool singer Dave Williams was found dead on the band's tour bus August 14,2002. The quartet from Dallas, Texas has been performing as one of the main stage attractions on Ozzfest. The cause of death has yet to be determined. |

| On April 8, Kurt Cobain was found at his house in Seattle, Washington. Kurt had been dead for several days, from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
