I am a retired maintenance engineer from Swindon Wiltshire England and now live just outside Flagstaff Arizona USA. I have been here three years. I am married to Linda whom I first met through the internet on a pen pal site, later we were featured in an english magazine (Choice) in a artical about internet romance. After a few visits to see Linda I came over on a visit on the 03/28/02 and we decided to get married and I never went back.I have got my permanent resident card from immigration on the 06/28/04
Hobbies and Interests.
I suppose that my main hobby is steam railroads, the building of model railroads, I have just bought a partly built layout in "N" scale, which I am working on the electrical working for the lights and working fairground, Keeping tropical fish(4 tanks) also I collect railroad memorabilia, mainly old photo's and postcards, I also like fishing but have not done any since I have been in the states. I make doll houses, bird tables and small wooden toys, when it comes to reading I like Wilber Smith novels. --- Wildlife and nature also interests me and we have elk, deer, porcupines and jack rabbits wandering through our yard and humming birds feeding at our door.
When I was in the UK I was very interested in crop circles and visited about thirty a year with my friend Dave, there does not seem to be any in this area of the states but I keep up with what is happening through the internet.
Family and Friends.
My family is now split between the UK and USA. A daughter Lorraine and family and a daughter-in-law Mary and family in the UK. Four daughters Sharon, Shelia, Maryann and Sarah, two with family's and a son Chris in the states. I have seven grand children and one great grandchild between here and the UK.
I dedicate this page to my old work mate and close friend Dave and his wife Marie in the UK, as he has been there for me through thick and thin and we are great mates...
