Unlock Shifting Sands Course
Play through and win the Cheep Cheep Tournament in Tournament Mode to unlock the Shifting Sands golf course.

Unlock Blooper Bay Course
Play through and win the Sands Classic in Tournament Mode to unlock the Blooper Bay golf course.

Unlock Peach's Castle Grounds Course
Play through and win the Blooper Open in Tournament Mode to unlock the Peach's Castle Grounds course.

Unlock Bowser Badlands Course
Play through and win Peach's Invitational in Tournament Mode to unlock the Bowser Badlands golf course.

Unlock Bowser Jr.
To earn Bowser Jr. as a playable character, earn all stars in Ring Mode with any character.

Unlock Petey Piranha
Successfully complete the Shooting, Approaching, and Putting games on all difficulties to unlock Petey Piranha as a playable character.

Unlock Boo
Earn 50 Best Badges in Tournament Mode to earn Boo as a playable character.

Unlock Shadow Mario
Earn a Best Badge for each hole in Tournament Mode to unlock Shadow Mario as a playable character.

Earn Upgraded Players
To upgrade a player's stats, accept an invitation to challenge the player in Character Matches Mode. Defeat the player to earn the stats bonus.

Password Tournaments
Like in the previous Mario Golf game, you can enter passwords to unlock special contests and tournaments. To access the password entry screen, hold Z and press Start on the title screen, then select the Contests menu option that appears. In this menu, select the Password Tournament option, then enter any one of the passwords below. More passwords will be added as new contests begin.
