Secret Shop (Both Games)
There is a shop in both games that can only be opened when you're playing the game on a Game Boy Advance. In the shop, you can buy rings and other accessories for 100 Rupees each.

Get Iron Shield (Oracle of Seasons)
To upgrade to the Level 2 shield, follow the steps below. You'll need the Magnetic Gloves from Level 5 before you attempt to get the items required, so if you haven't finished Level 5 (Unicorn's Cave) yet, don't bother trying to get the shield.

1    To start, you'll need to pick up the Red Ore. Find the warp to Subrosia located on the island in Eyeglass Lake and enter. Once you're in Subrosia, head due south one screen and west one screen. Use the Magnetic Gloves to get across the pit and enter the cave. When you come up from the stairs, open the chest to find the Red Ore. Exit Subrosia through the same warp.

2   The next item you need is the Blue Ore. Enter Subrosia through the Mt. Cucco warp. Head north one screen, and then continue north and west until you reach the Subrosian Volcanoes. A small trail wraps around the volcano area into the woods. You can follow that trail to find the chest with the Blue Ore. Exit back through any warp and return to the Eyeglass Lake warp.

3   You may have already gotten clues about Hard Ore and how to make it. Now that you have the necessary ingredients, you can take them to the Great Furnace west of the warp from Eyeglass Lake. You'll get Hard Ore, which is the key ingredient you need to get the Iron Shield.

4   Once you've got the Hard Ore, go to the Subrosian Smithy and tell the Master to "do whatever" with the ore. He'll make you the Iron Shield to replace your old wooden shield.

Hero's Secret (Both Games)
After you complete a password-linked Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons game by defeating Ganon, you'll get the Hero's Secret. You can use that secret to start a new game in either Ages or Seasons. There are no changes, except that you start with four hearts, not three.

Ring Secrets
You can bring rings from one game to another if you're playing a password-linked game. In one game, talk to the Red Snake at Vasu Jewelers and select "Ask secret". You'll get a Ring Secret which you can then take to the other game and enter. The rings from one game will be transferred to the game where you entered the secret.
