Open Special Cup
To open up the final cup, you must complete all of the four previous cups in that class and win a gold cup. You must open the Special Cup separately for each kart class.

Open Extra Cups
You can open up cups with the traditional SNES courses by collecting 100 coins on a cup and earning a "B" rank or higher. When you do, the corresponding cup in Extra will be opened.

Open SNES Tracks In Time Trials
Once you have played through and completed the SNES tracks in Mario GP 150cc mode, you can play them in Time Trial mode. You must unlock the Extra Cups first, though.

Rocket Start
To leave the starting line with a boost, press the accelerator button between the second and third lights. If you did it correctly, you'll rocket off the starting line.

Character Select Stuff
While picking your character, you can press L to make the kart fire a shell, or press R to make the kart jump.
