Secret Exit: Donut Plains 1
To reach the secret exit at the end of Donut Plains 1, you need to have already activated the Green Switch Blocks. Use the purple triangle at the base of the blocks to run up and grab the key. Insert it into the hole, and you'll go to Donut Secret 1. If you're good at flying with the Cape, you can use your skills to fly up to the key instead.

Secret Exit: Donut Plains 2
Midway through the level you'll find a short green pipe on the ceiling. Enter it to go to a large room with four yellow blocks. Continue past the yellow blocks and you'll see an empty shell. Use the Spin Jump to break the blocks covering the shell, and then toss the shell at the highest yellow block, which contains a vine. Jump from block to block to reach the vine and the key to the Green Switch Palace.

Secret Exit: Donut Ghost House
You must have a Cape to do this. At the beginning of the level, fly towards the left edge of the screen to a set of blocks. Run to the right and you'll eventually drop off to an area containing four 1-UPs. Enter the door and exit the stage to go to the Top Secret Area.

Secret Exit: Donut Secret 1
Midway through the level, you'll find a P-Switch. Take the switch and swim to the right with it until you see a small ditch covered by coins. Land in the ditch and activate the P-Switch. Pop the question block to get a key, and then swim with the key to a keyhole. You'll gain access to the Donut Secret House.

Secret Exit: Donut Secret House
There are several ways to do this. In the second area of the house, run all the way to the right edge of the screen. There, you'll find a P-Switch. Carry the switch to the location where a door is stranded in midair. Hit the switch, and three question blocks will appear. Pop the block directly above the door to find a vine. Quickly climb the vine and run to the right. Enter the blue door which has temporarily appeared, and enter it to fight a boss. Defeat the boss to enter Star Road.

An alternative way to do this is to fly. Grab the switch, and fly with it back to the right to the platform high above the area. (It's where you would normally go if you were using the vine.) Run all the way to the right, and then hit the switch. If you did this right, you should be standing right next to the door.

Secret Exit: Vanilla Dome 1
After hitting the Red Switch, return to Vanilla Dome 1 and climb the Red Switch Blocks. Hit the yellow block to make a vine appear, and then climb the vine. You'll be able to enter the Vanilla Secret area.

Secret Exit: Vanilla Dome 2
After climbing out of the water halfway through the stage, you'll see a very steep slope leading to the right. Instead of following it to the midway point, go left instead to find a P-Switch. Carry the switch to a brown block wall and hit it. Quickly drop into a newly-opened area and swim down to the key. This exit will take you to the Red Switch Palace.

Secret Exit: Vanilla Secret 1
Make sure you have a Cape before trying this. In the area where you must use the springboard to reach a group of flying red Koopas, fly up and to the left to find a pipe sitting on a small platform. Enter the pipe and hit the goal point to go to Star Road.

Secret Exit: Cheese Bridge Area
Once again, you must have a Cape to find this exit. Make sure you're already flying as you approach the goal or this won't work. Fly underneath the first goal, and then press Left repeatedly to lift yourself back up to the platform. Continue to the right and you'll reach a second goal point. Hit this goal to go to Soda Lake.

Secret Exit: Forest of Illusion 1
You'll probably see the keyhole as you are passing above it near the end of the stage. At the end of the long wooden bridge, you'll find a P-Balloon. Use the balloon to float underneath the logs back towards the key. Using this exit will give you access to the Forest Ghost House.

Secret Exit: Forest of Illusion 2
Near the end of the stage, you'll find a Yellow Switch Block. Swim back to the left, but keep low and you'll enter a hidden area with a key. Put it in the keyhole to go to the Blue Switch Palace.

Secret Exit: Forest Ghost House
If you haven't already accessed the ghost house via Forest of Illusion 1, you can bypass the first exit door and continue to the left to uncover a second door containing a 3-UP moon. Otherwise, this alternate exit is pretty useless.

Secret Exit: Forest of Illusion 4
After the midpoint, you'll see a blue pipe floating in midair with a Lakitu throwing enemies down from it. Use the P-Switch located directly under the pipe to make question blocks appear. Climb these blocks and go down the pipe to find a key leading to the Forest Secret Area.

Secret Exit: Chocolate Island 2
To get to Chocolate Secret, you must complete this stage as quickly as possible, or collect as many coins as possible. The secret exit is in an area made up mostly of colored Switch Blocks and Pitchin' Chucks.

Secret Exit: Chocolate Island 3
The first exit is a fake exit, which will just take you around in a circle. To get to the second exit, you must go underneath the first goal point and continue to the right. (You could try the method suggested for the Cheese Bridge Area, but the platform before the first goal point should be long enough that you don't have to resort to that.) The second goal point is the one that will let you continue to Chocolate Island 4.

Secret Exit: Valley of Bowser 2
In the final section where the yellow platform continuously rises, run all the way to the end and wait until the platform stops rising. Using the platform as a stepping stone, jump up to the left and run along the ceiling. Continue back to the left and you'll find a keyhole leading to the secret entrance into Bowser's Castle.

Secret Exit: Valley Ghost House
The Valley Ghost House is a maze of rooms which loop around continuously if you don't take the right door. In the main room, make sure you've hit the P-Switch and continue to the right where the doors and coins are. Take the correct door (at this point, I don't remember which one) to find the special exit.

Secret Exit: Valley of Bowser 4
This one is pretty hard to miss. Just have Yoshi grab the key at the end of the level with his tongue, and then jump over to the keyhole. What you'll get as a result of this is a secret entrance to Star Road.
