Case solved

I wanted to share this amazing story with you. While visiting my grandparents in Arizona (the main point of our trip), I was surprised to be presented with a doll that I had lost when I was an infant, twenty six years ago. I had always wondered where this doll had gone to, and my sister took every opportunity to rub it in my face by continually showing me her own identical doll (note: my mother has always taken to buying us kids nearly identical items so that we never had cause to fight due to someone having a “better” item). I have taken the liberty of drawing up a missing person’s poster, but now I can finally say ‘case closed.’ I suppose I have my grandmother’s trait of being a pack-rat to thank for this. What is the most amazing thing about this story is that since I left the doll at her house in Saint Paul, she had since moved a few times, with the last being Arizona, and each time she was thoughtful enough to bring my little pink rattle doll with her. Now that’s dedication!
