My 20th birthday has come and gone... damn, where'd the years go? (don't answer that). I got presents and stuff, and life is good.

I bought the Venture Brothers Season One DVD the other day, and it kicks ass. I highly recommend picking this up. The new season kicked off tonight, and that rocked, too.

Just in case you people don't know, there is this great site, pandora.com, and it will help you expand your music library. It's all free (unless you want premium services, which are unnecessary), and you can make your own commercial free radio stations with the music that you tell it to look for. For best results, add parameters for the station with the artists, not the song titles. I know it helped me broaden my SKA library, and I fell in love with it immediately.

I'll also throw Rant 5 up sometime in the next couple of days.

I'm also contemplating making a myspace web page and creating a forwarding link to this page... I really don't want to succumb to the alures of myspace, but I might have to.

Rant 4 - Racism in America is now posted for your reading pleasure. In it, I concentrate mostly on racism in comedy, but I mention a few other things about racism in modern America (which to me is a very confusing subject because of all the conficting infomation out there).

I also decided to put a "quick-link" update bar above the blog for those of you who just want the good stuff with the middle man cut out.

In other news, I'm going to be 20 on Monday, WoOoOoOoOo! How the time flies.

Check out my first set of pictures!!! I took footage of a thunderstorm at my house a short while ago, and I took screen shots from the video and posted some pictures of lightning up (19 in total). I love lightning and things of the like, so you'll definitely see more of it in the future.

ARGH *dies of boredom*

It's 4am on a cool Monday morning, and I'm bored as hell, so I set up the forums. There you can discuss my rants, music/movies/TV, suggestions for my web site, and whatever else your sick minds think of. For the love of God, please, PLEASE read my "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" thread in the General Discussion section.

Visited some relatives today... Got up at 9am (I haven't seen that hour for awhile) and had a good time. My dad's barbershop quartet sang a bunch of songs, which was awesome because they're all great singers. I also made scrambled eggs... Damn they were good. I make incredible scrambled eggs, by the way, in case you want some (Yes, I know, what a great achievement).

So yeah get to posting before I feel sad!

I finally put up rant #3: Modern Gaming and its Addictions. It goes into how rediculous gamers are when it comes to video games. People buy the games, then they pour hundreds of dollars and countless hours to be the best at something they'll stop playing once the next big thing comes out.

I still haven't gotten to the pictures yet... I'm lazy. I've also been doing chores and working at my job, so I have somewhat-of-an-excuse. I've also been watching many, many movies (because I get them for free mua ha ha ha ha!)

In other news, my Uncle and Cousin from Hawaii are coming up this weekend, so I'll be chilling with them (but I work tonight and tomorrow afternoon, so I don't know how much hanging out we're going to do), then THEY TAKE MY CAR to my grandmother's for a couple of days (I'm very protective of my car). The good news is that I get to use my dad's car instead, which is slightly more fun to drive.

I'll try to get my next rant (Racism in Comedy) up by next Friday. I also plan on updating the banner because it probably means nothing to many people, so I'll change it so it DOES make sense.

And did someone say forums? I'm thinking about throwing one of those onto the web site.

UPDATE: My relatives found a different flight to Ithaca (which is where they wanted to be anyway), so I'll see them Sunday instead. :)

Many movies and many chores later, another entry appears. I've had to have seen about 8 movies since my last update, so I'm not doing the reviews today. By the way, SEE X-MEN: THE LAST STAND!!! It's a great movie and more than worth the ticket price to watch.

New rant going up soon. It's going to be on video games like World of Warcraft and how they destroy lives and such. I also have some nice thunderstorm footage that I'm going to pull screenshots from, and then I'll throw those on the pics page. And then I'll probably take some other pictures and put those on as well.

Hope everyone out there is enjoying the mmmmmm so good weather... it's finally summer (and I mean temperature-wise so get off or pay another $0.25!!!). Pool's open and nice (thanks to my little friend the pool heater), but unfortunately the basketball hoop is no longer in service... I need to find a new one.
