The Adventure Continues . . .

After a quick break for trail mix and water, we head out for our letterbox hike. First stop, Nome!

Oh, correction, first stop gnome . The clue leads us to the gnome who guards the entrance to the camp.

After stamping our passports, we set off with Troop 85 to find the other two letterboxes.

Our search leads us over two rock ridges, past "Moby Dick" and into a rock canyon. Here, we stop to regroup before tackling the next part of the hike.

Audrey is caught by the dreaded "rock monster", but shakes off her injury with a smile.

We enjoy a refreshing lunch of hot dogs, tuna melts, lemonade and popcorn, followed by an impromptu talent show. Afterwards, we head toward the program hall for swaps and the music program.

The swaps our group made were paper torches, soda pop tab pins, and acorn babies.

As the audience registers various degrees of surprise amazement and shock, Mrs. Sheldon and Mrs. Craig take a turn around the dance floor with Mr. Music.

Mrs. Sheldon and Mrs. Murray cheer Cassie on as she does the stroll with Mr. Music.
