Spring, 2002 Schedule:
All meetings at Highland Elementary, unless otherwise noted.
January 9: Meeting
January 16: Variety show rehearsal (Highland cafeteria)
January 19: Cookie sale begins at 10:00 AM
January 21: Martin Luther King Day. Rehearsal for Variety show � 1:30 - 4:00 PM at the Pettit's (33 Highland Dr.)
January 23: Meeting
January 30: Variety show rehearsal (Highland cafeteria)
Feb. 1: Dress rehearsal (Sheehan auditorium)
February 6: Meeting. COOKIE ORDERS DUE.
February 8: Variety show (Sheehan auditorium)
February 15: Father-Daughter Dance (NOTE: You are responsible for signing up on your own -- this is not a troop activity)
Feb. 27: Meeting (note date change)
March 10: Girl Scout Sunday at FUMC, Meriden
March 13 COOKIE PICK-UP/Meeting at Muller's.
March 14 - 22: DELIVER COOKIE ORDERS. We will make two "runs" for catch-up orders, one on March 15th, and one on March 29th.
Mar. 16: Cookie Booth sale.
March 20: Meeting Work on Jewelry Badge . Mrs. Murray will do flag pins (Jewelry #10), Mrs. Sheldon will talk about Jewelry of the world (let her know if you have anything from other countries). Juniors will also receive instructions for completing Jeweler #9.
April 3: COOKIE MONEY DUE -- one check, please, no cash.
Meeting: prepare for Helth and Fitness fair � practice yoga moves, sign up to man booth and do demonstrations. Juniors will give jewelry and music reports
April 15 � 19: Spring Break, no meeting unless 3rd graders decide to meet to plan bridging ceremony or finish bridging work
April 24: Health and Fitness Fair � our troop is doing Yoga and Yogurt: Keep Your Mind AND Body Healthy!(Sheehan)
April 27: Hike at Sleeping Giant (10 AM - 3 PM)
May 1: Meeting. Prepare Brownies for Bridging
May 4: Girl Scout 90th Anniversary celebration (Mountainside)
May 15: Bridging Ceremony and Court of awards (entire troop)
May 22: Planning meeting for Camporee (mandatory for those attending)
May 25: Camporee/Possible sleepover (the sleepover would be Saturday night AFTER we attend Camporee during the day.)
