FUN WITH FROZEN BREAD DOUGH
Okay, so frozen bread dough may not sound like the most exciting thing in the world, but it's easy to work with, and it dresses up well. Ask whoever does the grocery shopping in your family to pick up a package of frozen dough, then have fun!
MONKEY BREAD
1. Place one loaf of the frozen dough in a greased mixing bowl. Thaw four hours, or overnight.
2. Slice the thawed dough lengthwise into four pieces. Cut each of these pieces into twelve chunks. You now have 48 pieces of dough. Let the dough rest on the cutting board while you grease a loaf pan and do steps 3 and 4.
3.Melt half a stick (4 T.) of butter in the microwave
4.Mix together 3/4 c.white sugar and 2 T. cinnamon.
5.Roll each piece of dough in the butter, then the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Drop into the loaf pan.
6.Let rise for one hour.
7.Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes,until golden brown on top.
8.Let cool slightly, before pulling apart and eating.
VARIATION: Mix two or three peeled, thinly-sliced apples in with the dough before baking. This tastes best if you use a mix of different apples -- perhaps one tart and one sweet.

3.Grease a cookie sheet, and arrange the pieces in the shape of a Christmas tree, using the diagram below. (The larger piece can be used as the base.):
