Hockey
Yes, i love hockey!!!� I played hockey for about seven years.� Last year was the first year since i started that i didnt actually play for a team.� I ahve played for many different teams, including Plymouth, Livonia, Westland, Dearborn, and Divine Child (summer league).� When i played for the Livonia Anchor Jets a few years back, we finished second in the sppring league championship.� One of the greatest honors was being on the Plymouth Sharks team that won the Little Ceasers Championship a few years back.� Sicne then i ahve been on many teams, several of with i was the captain or assistand captain.� I am a defensemen, and i primarily focus on defence, though i can score goals if i try.
My favorite NHL team, being that i live in Hockeytown, is obviously, the Detroit Red Wings.� My favorite players are Steve Yzerman and Kris Draper.� I also tend to agree witht the philosophy of Don Cherry, perhaps the most knowledgable and animated man in the sport of hockey!
Of course, living in Canton, i am a fan of our local OHL team, the Plymouth Whalers!� They have not only provided us with great hockey at a low price, but the system has produced many great NHL players, msot notably, Brian Berard.� Go Whalers!!!
