Welcome. I am Tofferer Crimson. I am an amateur Luthier, this is to say that my avocation is the art of making of stringed instruments. I specialize primarily in dulcimers, though I do occasionally make violins. I am presently working from a garage that has been converted into an appropriate work shop. In like manner, I use a variety of tools, several of which were built by myself. I will eventually offer some of my handiwork for sale via this site. However, I am some months away from this. Notwithstanding that much of the material I use comes from scrap pallets.
The links below include pictures and descriptions of tools that are being used in the shop. There are also pictures of the shop as well as a link to what I presently have for sale. Please check back frequently as there is no telling when I may have either new pictures or an instrument up for sale.
