For those that have not met me before, here's a little info to keep ya occupied.
I'm 30, and live in the "gap" (Saskatchewan Canada.)
No, I do not live in an igloo, for those of you that are not familiar
with Canada)
I have had some interesting hobbies over the years, most of them
relating to automotive memorabilia. Currently I collect 1/18
scale serial numbered die cast collector cars.
I prefer to collect ERTL brand die cast vehicles, and find the
detailing very close to the original car. Not bad for a toy car
manufacturer huh?
I have also built and raced many different brands of remote
control racing vehicles.
Many of these remote control vehicles being four wheel drive cars. Eventually racing got boring, so I decided to start making custom remote control vehicles,
to looklike real vehicles. I started tinkering with cars that towed my
boats around on a trailer and etc.
It was fun, but a very
expensive hobby, and the toys only got less value,
which lead me
to collecting the 1/18 scale die cast cars.
I used to repair cars
with dad and brother, and was an avid fan of 1970's muscle cars,
which is what I like to collect.
Although I have never owned a
Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth product in my life, It seems my collect
started off with 3 of their products. I have started with a 1969
Hemi Charger/Daytona, a 1970 Hemi Cuda, a 1970 Challenger R/T
Hemi, a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Pick-up Truck and just recently a
1955 Stepside Chevrolet Pick-up Truck, and a 1953 stepside GMC
tanker.
