| Blimpton's Dry Cleaning Services, Inc. was born in Rimville, South Carolina in 1901. Harold Tuckworth Blimpton was the visionary who foresaw a day when people would rely on others to wash their poorly-made third world manufactured clothing. While there wasn't much call for a dry cleaner in those days, Harold kept with it, and by 1962 there were two Blimpton's opened in Rimville.
